Blue lapel vest :: Autumn wardrobe

Hello and welcome to November’s first outfit post! I wanted to create a very autumnal outfit but I thought I should try something different than the last outfit and, because I had just received this amazing blue lapel vest, I needed to “take it out for a spin”.

I love vests and I own only a white one a black one but I wear them so much in so many different styles. That’s why I am always searching for vests in other colors to add to my wardrobe. When I saw this blue lapel vest at VIPme.com, I knew I had to had it, I love its color and those cut out details. Unfortunately it is a little too large for me and I can’t wear it the way I was imagining when I got it. But hey, I had to think about some other options and I discovered that it looks great with a leather jacket and this way I can wear it even if it’s really cold outside.

I wanted to let the vest shine and I wore a simple, black outfit: a summer dress that I love wearing the cold season along with sweaters, my trusted faux leather jacket and a pair of booties that have some blue details and I thought they would look great with the blue lapel vest.

I had a white turtleneck with me ( because I hate the cold and I wanted to be prepared) and I decided to try it as well, you can see that outfit at the end of the post, I really like both outfits but I think the all black one is better.

Oh and I wore my hair in a messy bun, I wear it like this most of the time even if on the blog I always wear it straight or curled.
