Gold metallic pleated skirt – Christmas outfit

Metallic has been one of this year’s biggest trends and it’s only now that I’ve managed to get my hands on something. To be honest, I wasn’t and still am not a big fan of metallics but I do love pleats, especially pleated skirts and when I saw this gold metallic pleated skirt, on Sammydress, I had to have it! I thought it would perfect for a Christmas inspired outfit and I was right because it looks so pretty and festive!

I wanted to create a cozy yet romantic outfit, not to ordinary, not to fancy, an outfit that you can wear on Christmas day while feeling comfortable and put together at the same time. So, I chose to pair the gold metallic pleated skirt with a fluffy knit in a very similar shade, a polka dot shirt for that preppy look that I am obsessed with and my old favorite ankle boots. 

As for accessories, lately I am in love with minimal jewelry so I recently bought two deer themed pieces: a ring and a lovely necklace. Let me tell you this: I am obsessed! They are some cheap items from ebay but I would love to own some gold ones in order to keep them forever and ever, so cute and Christmassy! 

If you’re from Bucharest, go and visit the Christmas market, everything looks so pretty and there are so many delicious stuff, I will surely go back because this time I didn’t had the time!
